Dave

Band leader Big Bob fights a never-ending battle to find new songs to perform and venues to play them in. A natural entertainer, Big Bob is rarely on stage, preferring to sing and dance with his large audience of frequently friendly females. Hey-ya, during the day he morphs into Dave, a mild-mannered high school counselor and coach.

Jim

Singer Jim is the Big Bob master of ceremonies, adds great stage presence to awesome vocals, sprinkles in a huge funny bone and keeps the band on track. Often seen with Big Bob in the middle of the dance floor. During the day, he is disguised as a mild-mannered supermarket consultant for a great metropolitan food and distribution company.

Lynsey

Lynsey provides the Heat Wave for the band, with her stunning vocals that clearly get her So Excited we have to try to Chain Chain Chain her down but we know she Will Survive all the way to the Last Dance after which she'll be Walking on Sunshine on the way to the school where she teaches 9th grade earth science.

Johnny

Guitar guru Johnny is a jumping jack gas, as the Stones might say. Often seen singing and playing the armadillo blues, when he’s rocking with us his fingers fly faster than his fans can see but what they hear is pure magic. During the day, he insures that we’re all united in good health so when the night comes we can once again play in the land of 10,000 dances.

Greg

Greg is the man behind the keys, laying down an incredible variety of sounds and styles to complement the band's eclectic selections. He's also the architect of numerous cabinetry and lighting innovations and has sound (system) judgment. In the off hours he counsels (non-band!) inmates at a great outstate psychiatric institution.

Tyler

Drummer Tyler's goal is to create enough accessible space to snare his share of dancing drumming fans. Even with those distractions, he provides a rock solid rhythmic spell on Big Bob's groove. He also keeps the beat going for a large local online educational enterprise.

Jim

Bassman Jim fights a never-ending battle for time off so he can make music. And web pages. Inwardly all a-shiver with excitement when performing, outwardly he exhibits the emotions and dance moves of a telephone pole. During the day he promotes healthy use of technology at a large public university.

Sax player Steve jazzes the band with his stunning solos and fills. He is also adept at the high tongue position. We don’t know what that is, but we all want to learn it. So far, only sax-symbol Steve has the brass to pull it off! When he’s not wailing with Bob, he provides programming power to that same large local online educational enterprise.

Chuck Chuck is the lead and rhythm guitarist and singer/songwriter. When he's not performing with the band, he works at a diversified energy, grains and foods company.  A magnetic personality, his followers stick with him whenever he is gigging. He is the only one in our band who can play his guitar behind his head.

Brian

Brian, the Big Bob Sound Detective, in real life actually IS a detective (for a great metropolitan suburban police department), and arrests us with his musical grasp of sound law. Or is it his sound grasp of musical law? Anyway, besides the Big Bob Big Board, he also handles the band's treasury, and all donations, tips, honorariums, and especially bar bills go to him.
